To mark the start of the new Formula 1 season, which kicked off last weekend in Australia, Allianz Global Investors has launched an online Fantasy Formula 1 competition for UK Financial Advisers.
Advisers can join the competition for free at any stage during the Formula 1 season. Colleagues can compete against each other and there are prizes for the winner of each race.
The player with the overall highest score at the end of the season also wins a day out at the Williams headquarters including an exclusive tour of the Williams factory and F1 museum.
Each player will be allowed to make transfers throughout the season as the competition hots up. For those F1 novices who are unsure about who to pick for their team there is a ‘lucky dip’ option where you can have a team selected for you at random.
Once a fantasy team has been submitted Advisers can receive pre-race emails giving them access to statistics, race track details and technical graphics. The F1 racing season takes place from March to November, culminating with the Brazilian Grand prix.
