RCM, the global equity company of Allianz Global Investors, has today announced the appointment of Guido Stiel as Director and Senior Portfolio Manager of emerging market equities. The appointment sees Guido Stiel join the award-winning* team which manages the Allianz RCM BRIC Stars Fund.
Stiel joins from Deka Investment Gmbh where he was portfolio manager of DekaLux-pacific fund and behavioural financial analyst for the last eleven years. Before joining Deka Investment, Guido spent three years at ADIG investment as portfolio manager and quantitative analyst. Based in Frankfurt, he will provide specialist expertise and knowledge on Asian equities, and support fund manager Michael Konstantinov running the highly successful Allianz RCM BRIC Stars Fund.
